Looks like a small ball: The goldcrest.

In Germany, goldcrests are common breeding birds. They build their nests in spruces. As there do not grow any trees on Trischen Island, goldcrests only can be watched in spring and autumn while bird migration.

Distinctive: the yellow crest. The firecrest has a wide white band above its eye, additionally.

The bird migration is the most dangerous part of life of a goldcrest. These smallest birds of Europe have a weight of only five grams and can drift on a wrong way due to strong winds. Lighthouses and lighted houses can be dangers for the dwarfs, too.
